BANK THEFT

I'm feeling very clever indeed.
I figured out how to trick the ATM
into giving me more than $500 in one day
when I'm about to leave for a trip.
Gather round –
I will share the scam.
Get your $500 limit,
but don't put your bankcard back in your wallet.
You will need it very quickly.
As you pry your twenties loose from the cash slot,
prepare your bankcard for the next hit.
If you do this fast enough,
you can go for another round of $500
before the first withdrawal hits the computer.
Funny, you feel like a thief.
Like you're cheating or something.
Then the thought hits you.
Hey, this is my money.
