NORMAL
In my vanity,
I harbor fears
about features
that don't measure up.
And in the typical fashion
of paranoia,
I think I must be
the only person on earth
with whatever it is.
Or at least I must have
the very worst instance of it.
Then I open the newspaper,
and see an ad for an entire business
devoted to correcting this condition.
I never make an appointment.
I don't need to.
It's enough to know
that I'm normal.
